Hello, I  am Katharine Keblish.  I’ve been teaching art since 2011, and I am excited to be at ECES.  Go Eagles!

 I look forward to challenging students in the art room. Whether it's learning about a new style of art or making something look “fye” through a particular skill, I love watching kids do what they once believed they couldn’t.  What a confidence booster!

More than anything, it’s a priority to instill an “I CAN DO” attitude in students; not only about art, but about other worthwhile pursuits like reading, math, science, dance, sports and traveling.  

My goal is to have every student fully enjoy artmaking and be successful in the art room.  My desire is to have each student leave the art room believing a bit more in their own self-worth and capabilities.

Hello! My name is Nicholas Wiles. I am so excited to see what this year hold for us at Elbert County Elementary School in music class!

I believe in providing a welcoming music class that is educational and enjoyable.

I believe in music classes that focus not only on singing silly songs but on creating and understanding how music works.

I value working hard to achieve your goals.

I carefully plan to ensure that what I teach is accurate and relevant, and make it a priority to teach activities to reflect that.

I believe in orderly classes and students who are excited about learning music.

My students will be my inspiration to continue to grow as a musician, as a teacher, and as a person.

As the Media Specialist of ECES, I serve as the school librarian as well as your child's Enrichment Teacher. Our enrichment instruction provides students with the opportunity to explore, make messes, and learn. We build upon the content that is taught  in their classroom and tie it to the books they can find in the library. During Enrichment, students will participate in art, STEM/STEAM actities, and project-based learning opportunities.
